CUSTOMER INFORMATION
Clear terms for journeys, payments and approved business accounts.
Effective 14 September 2026 · Version 2026-09-14White Taxi Glasgow is operated by Toaster Cabs Ltd (company number SC890671), registered office 26 Allanton Grove, Wishaw, United Kingdom, ML2 7LN. Contact bookings@whitetaxiglasgow.co.uk or +44 7553 106 106.
These terms apply to booking requests and confirmed journeys made through our website, apps, dispatch team or approved business-account portal. They are read with the confirmed itinerary, price and any written business-account agreement. Mandatory legal rights are not excluded.
A request is not accepted until we confirm it. Check the passenger name, phone, email, pickup, destination, vias, date, time, flight, vehicle count and accessibility requirements. Tell us promptly about errors. Return travel creates two linked but separately operated journeys, even where billed in one payment or invoice.
The total shown before confirmation covers the stated itinerary and requirements. Agreed vias, additional vehicles, waiting, airport charges, seasonal pricing and selected extras are included or itemised before confirmation. Later changes may be repriced. We do not add an undisclosed mandatory fee after confirmation.
Website and app customers normally prepay through secure Stripe Checkout. Approved business accounts may book without immediate payment only while active and within their credit limit. Account journeys are recorded against the organisation and invoiced under its agreed terms. The organisation is responsible for bookings made by its authorised users unless it promptly reports compromised access.
Please cancel as early as possible. For cancellations at least 24 hours before pickup, prepaid journey charges will normally be refunded. For later cancellations or no-shows we may retain or charge an amount reflecting the direct loss and reasonable costs caused by the cancellation, after taking reasonable steps to reduce that loss. We will not recover the same loss twice. Any different event, wedding or bespoke cancellation scale will be shown before confirmation.
Unless a signed account agreement says otherwise, an authorised account cancellation made at least 24 hours before pickup releases the journey charge and removes the work from dispatch. A cancellation made less than 24 hours before pickup is charged at the full confirmed journey price under the business account arrangement. Dispatch may waive or adjust that charge, with the reason retained in the audit record. Cancelling removes any driver assignment and the driver is notified. Completed, passenger-on-board and no-show journeys cannot be cancelled through the portal.
If we cannot provide an accepted journey, we will notify you and refund or release the price for the service not provided. This does not limit any further right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We use reasonable care and skill but cannot guarantee road journey times. Traffic, weather, closures, collisions, events, exceptional demand and other circumstances may cause delay. Allow sufficient time for flights, ceremonies and appointments. Waiting beyond an included period may be charged where disclosed.
Give the correct arriving flight number for an airport pickup. When selected, Meet & Greet means the driver meets the passenger in the terminal with a nameboard and assists them to the vehicle. It is £50 at Edinburgh Airport (EDI) and £35 at other supported airports. Each selected pickup leg is priced separately. Airport barrier or access fees may also apply and will be included or itemised in the confirmed price.
Passenger numbers include wheelchair users and must not exceed licensed capacity. Tell us about wheelchairs, mobility equipment, luggage, prams and other space or assistance needs. A licensed taxi safely carries no more than one wheelchair user at a time; additional vehicles may therefore be required and will be shown in the price. We do not charge extra solely for legally required wheelchair assistance.
Passengers must follow lawful safety instructions and behave respectfully. Smoking and vaping are prohibited. A driver may refuse an unsafe load or behaviour presenting a safety, legal or damage risk. We may recover reasonable direct cleaning or damage costs where lawful and evidenced.
For large groups or specialist work we may arrange a suitable licensed operator. We remain the booking contact unless we tell you otherwise and will disclose any material operator-specific term before confirmation.
Credentials and secure links are personal to the authorised user and must not be shared. Tell us immediately if access may be compromised. We may suspend an account to protect customers, data, credit or operations. Users must not probe, disrupt or misuse the service.
We use booking, contact, payment, vehicle and journey-location information to deliver and administer the service, prevent fraud, meet legal duties and keep financial and operational records. Relevant details are shared only with drivers, payment providers and trusted operators or suppliers where needed. See our privacy information for further detail.
We do not exclude liability where unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to those protections, we are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach, not loss caused solely by inaccurate customer information or events outside reasonable control.
Contact bookings@whitetaxiglasgow.co.uk with the booking reference and details so we can investigate. If unresolved, we will discuss an appropriate next step. This does not remove either party’s right to use the courts.
The version accepted or supplied when a booking is confirmed applies to that booking unless a legal change is required. These terms are governed by Scots law. Consumers retain any right to use another court available under mandatory law.
